This 31 gram (155 carat) parcel of metaphysical grade rough phenakite from the Carnaiba Emerald Mine in the Pindobaçu region of Bahia, Brazil contains 6 pieces measuring between 13 and 27mm. Some pieces are double terminated, meaning they formed natural points on both ends, some show green traces of emerald, and all of them include biotite mica matrix. The parcel is an affordable way to obtain several large pieces of phenakite, and every piece is completely natural and untreated.

Phenakite from Brazil is sought after for its gentler (but still powerful) vibrational quality compared to phenakite from other locations. The Carnaiba Emerald Mine is an emerald locality, so some of its phenakite forms with traces of emerald, which shows as a green hue on some pieces and gives this material a uniquely gentle vibrational quality that phenakite from other locations doesn't offer.

WHAT THIS STONE IS USED FOR

This parcel is well suited to crystal energy grids, wire wrapping, stone medicine elixirs, on-the-body healing layouts, and meditation. Place a piece over the third eye or crown chakra during meditation or in a grid or body layout, or display the parcel on an altar. A 'Good' grade phenakite delivers the full phenakite vibrational profile with a gentler delivery, and many practitioners find that gentler quality preferable for longer sessions.

VIBRATIONAL PROFILE

The phenakite in this parcel emits the white, green, and black frequencies, which trace to the phenakite itself (white), the emerald traces (green), and the biotite mica (black) that this mine is known for.

White Frequency: Phenakite is one of only a handful of stones confirmed to embody the white frequency, and the metaphysical record describes it as emitting divine white light. The white frequency serves as the universal donor, containing the qualities of all other color frequencies in a gentle, safe form suitable for nearly any condition. Energetically, white illuminates and clears the energy body, restoring resonance with divine light. It can be charged with any specific energy quality and then broadcast that quality outward. This is why clear quartz, which resonates strongly with the white band, is considered the foundation stone of crystal energy and healing practices. In Christian esotericism, the Holy Spirit appears as white light, and Steiner described white light as increasing in luminosity at higher spiritual levels.

Ultraviolet (UV) Frequency: The ultraviolet frequency is especially effective for addressing chronic pain, repairing damaged cells, and supporting DNA repair at the cellular level. PHENAKITE CLARITY GRADES

GOOD: Milky to cloudy translucence with inclusions and minor discoloration from trace minerals. Full phenakite vibrational profile with a gentler delivery. Typical of Brazilian and Russian material. This listing.

BETTER: Slightly cloudy to somewhat clear with minor inclusions or light etchings. Solid output for most healing and meditation work. Typical of some Ukrainian and Brazilian material.

BEST: Ultra-high transparency (crystal clear, 90-95%+), little to no inclusions. Maximum vibrational potency. Typical of Nigerian, Burmese, and select Ukrainian and Brazilian phenakite.

Clear quartz is frequently misrepresented as phenakite in the marketplace. If you encounter a specimen at an unusually low price, or with characteristics that seem inconsistent with known phenakite, it's likely quartz. JEWELRY

Are the stones and materials you use natural?

Yes! All of the stones we use are high-grade, premium, and 100% natural just as Gaia made them. They are not treated in any way (heat, irradiation, dye, stabilized, etc.) because some treatments alter the vibrational nature of the stone and can be detrimental to the energy field of the wearer. We use either 100% linen or silk thread for our beaded necklaces as they are highly conductive, helping the energy travel powerfully through the piece.

Do pieces come in other sizes or stone combinations?

Each piece made is unique and not made to order. Therefore, this piece cannot be altered and does not come in other sizes or stone combinations. However, if you like this piece and want it longer, made with different stones, or altered in any way, please reach out to request a custom order via the Contact page.

Who made the pieces in your store?

Each piece is handcrafted with intention and love by founder Ashley Sohl. She hand-picks every stone and component that is used, and handmakes each piece with care and attention. We do not believe in mass produced, cookie-cutter jewelry. Sanctuary Vibrational Jewelry makes unique stone ally adornments for inner journeys and personal transformation.

How do you know the vibration of the stones?

The vibrational qualities are painstakingly tested by Ashley using a comibination of ancient and modern vibrational scientific techniques from different schools of thought, including BioGeometry, physical Radiesthesia, New Homeopathy, and more.

Do you use real gold?

Yes! We use solid 14k gold. We recently started offering gold-filled as an option to make pieces accessible to more people. If gold-filled doesn't show up as an option, please contact me to request a custom.

I want a piece that is sold out. What should I do?

Every piece I make is a genuine one of a kind. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, you can request a custom order to have me make another one. But please be aware that some stones are very rare and I may not be able to source the exact same stones. Use the contact page to send me a message and we can discuss from there.

Each gemstone and specimen in our shop has been hand selected and may be the only one we could acquire. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, we offer custom sourcing for gemstones, specimens, and rough stones. Please see our Services page to get started.

Do your gemstones come with a certificate of authenticity?

As of the time of this writing, most of our gemstones do not come with a certificate of authenticity. However, we do offer a GIA certificate as an add-on for most gemstones and cabochons. Please note that only certain stones qualify for an identification + origin report (as opposed to just identification). Rough material or specimens are subject to GIA's ability to grade them. If you have questions about certification, please contact us directly.

Yes! We have a network of reputable, honest wholesalers, artisinal miners, dealers, and small businesses that align with our core values of fairness and fair trade, equity, transparency, and doing no harm to people and environment. All of our stones are sourced ethically and responsibly.
