This 32.55-gram phenakite lot from the Carnaiba Emerald Mine in the Pindobaçu region of Bahia, Brazil features 6 pieces of metaphysical grade rough phenakite. Measuring between 12 and 25 mm, this lot is an affordable way to obtain several large pieces of phenakite. Some pieces are double terminated, some have traces of emerald, and all of them have biotite mica matrix.

Phenakite from Brazil is sought after for its more gentle (but still powerful) vibrational qualities compared to phenakite from other locations. Stones from the Carnaiba Emerald Mine are interesting as some of the phenakite features traces of emerald (the green hue on some of the pieces), which gives these phenakite pieces a uniquely gentle vibrational quality that is not present in phenakite from other locations.

PHENAKITE CLARITY GRADES

  • Good: milky/cloudy translucence with inclusions and black, brown or yellow discoloration due to other trace minerals (typically from Brazil and some in Ukraine). Vibrational quality is good, but not of the highest potency, it's more gentle.
  • Better: slightly cloudy to somewhat clear transparency with minor inclusions and light discoloration. Found in almost all Phenakite locations.
  • Best: Highest grade and most vibrationally potent. Ultra-high transparency (crystal clear with ability to read text through the stone) of at least 90-95% with little to no inclusions or discoloration. Typical of Phenakite from Nigeria, Burma (Myanmar) and sometimes Ukraine.

Are the stones you use natural?

Yes! All of the stones we use are high-grade, premium, and 100% natural just as Gaia made them. They are not treated in any way (heat, irradiation, dye, stabilized, etc.) because some treatments alter the vibrational nature of the stone and can be detrimental to the energy field of the wearer.

Do pieces come in other sizes or stone combinations?

Each piece made is unique and not made to order. Therefore, this piece cannot be altered and does not come in other sizes or stone combinations. Who made the pieces in your store?

Do you use real gold?

Yes! We use solid 14k gold. We recently started offering gold-filled as an option to make pieces accessible to more people. If gold-filled doesn't show up as an option, please contact me to request a custom.

Every piece I make is a genuine one of a kind. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, you can request a custom order to have me make another one.
