This 1.18 carat pear shaped red beryl cabochon from the Wah Wah Mountains in Utah combines gemmy red beryl with its natural rhyolite matrix. The cabochon measures 8.5 x 7mm and shows the deep, vivid raspberry red that makes red beryl one of the most coveted gemstones in the world, set against the buff colored matrix. The red beryl is translucent to gemmy with visible rhyolite inclusions, and the piece is 100% natural and untreated.

Red beryl, also called 'bixbite', is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth, and its red coloration comes from manganese in the crystal structure. Rhyolite, the host rock it grew in, is a volcanic stone made up of quartz and feldspar. While a faceted red beryl is cut away from its host rock, this cabochon keeps its organic connection to the matrix it grew in, and matrix material at this quality is getting rarer to find on the open market.

WHAT THIS STONE IS USED FOR

In the vibrational framework I use, this cabochon connects the energetic forces of fire and earth, action and stability, vision and execution. At the physical level, red beryl supports stamina, endurance, and nervous system recovery. At the emotional level, it encourages perseverance, resilience, and adaptability, while at the mental level it enhances clarity, determination, and focus. At the spiritual level, it aligns higher consciousness with personal will, supporting life path alignment. In homeopathy and vibrational medicine, manganese is associated with resilience, stress reduction, and rapid recuperation, which reinforces red beryl's character as a stone of strength, clarity, and endurance.

The rhyolite matrix adds transformation, stability, and grounding through its quartz and feldspar combination, which helps anchor high-frequency work into everyday reality. This piece serves energy healers working with high-frequency activations, anyone building resilience and perseverance on their life path, and collectors drawn to ultra-rare gemstones with strong vibrational output.

VIBRATIONAL PROFILE

Vibrational testing confirms that this stone emits the red, infrared, and white frequencies.

Red Frequency: The manganese-colored red beryl gives this cabochon its red frequency component, which connects to the root and solar plexus chakras. The red frequency is a catalyst for stimulating the central nervous system, increasing circulation, building hemoglobin and platelets in the blood, and strengthening muscles and bones. It is especially effective for supporting rapid tissue repair. Modern research has shown that red light in the 620 to 660 nanometer range resonates with the cell membrane and is optimal for wound healing. On the energetic level, red is activating, vitalizing, warming, and expansive. Rudolf Steiner associated red with the Warmth Ether, the initial stage where spiritual forces begin to manifest as heat and move toward their physical form.

Infrared Frequency: The infrared frequency offers deeply penetrating detoxification, effective relief from acute pain, and accelerated wound healing. Peter Mandel's research demonstrated that infrared light at 950 nanometers resonates with the cell nucleus, and studies by the U.S. Navy found that combining infrared and red frequencies can reduce wound healing time by half. Energetically, infrared is warming and activating, and helps move energy toward physical manifestation. Rudolf Steiner linked infrared to the Warmth Ether, the stage where energy descending from the astral plane first acquires a heat signature as it approaches physical form.

White Frequency: The white frequency serves as the universal donor, containing the qualities of all other color frequencies in a gentle, safe form suitable for nearly any condition. Energetically, white illuminates and clears the energy body, restoring resonance with divine light. It can be charged with any specific energy quality and then broadcast that quality outward. This is why clear quartz, which resonates strongly with the white band, is considered the foundation stone of crystal energy and healing practices. In Christian esotericism, the Holy Spirit appears as white light, and Steiner described white light as increasing in luminosity at higher spiritual levels.

Together, the red, infrared, and white frequencies pair vitality and deep repair with higher consciousness. The hexagonal crystal structure of red beryl directs and amplifies that energy in a coherent, structured way, while the rhyolite matrix grounds high-frequency shifts into reality.

FAQ

JEWELRY

Are the stones and materials you use natural?

Yes! All of the stones we use are high-grade, premium, and 100% natural just as Gaia made them. They are not treated in any way (heat, irradiation, dye, stabilized, etc.) because some treatments alter the vibrational nature of the stone and can be detrimental to the energy field of the wearer. We use either 100% linen or silk thread for our beaded necklaces as they are highly conductive, helping the energy travel powerfully through the piece.

Do pieces come in other sizes or stone combinations?

Each piece made is unique and not made to order. Therefore, this piece cannot be altered and does not come in other sizes or stone combinations. However, if you like this piece and want it longer, made with different stones, or altered in any way, please reach out to request a custom order via the Contact page.

Who made the pieces in your store?

Each piece is handcrafted with intention and love by founder Ashley Sohl. She hand-picks every stone and component that is used, and handmakes each piece with care and attention. We do not believe in mass produced, cookie-cutter jewelry. Sanctuary Vibrational Jewelry makes unique stone ally adornments for inner journeys and personal transformation.

How do you know the vibration of the stones?

The vibrational qualities are painstakingly tested by Ashley using a comibination of ancient and modern vibrational scientific techniques from different schools of thought, including BioGeometry, physical Radiesthesia, New Homeopathy, and more.

Do you use real gold?

Yes! We use solid 14k gold. We recently started offering gold-filled as an option to make pieces accessible to more people. If gold-filled doesn't show up as an option, please contact me to request a custom.

I want a piece that is sold out. What should I do?

Every piece I make is a genuine one of a kind. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, you can request a custom order to have me make another one. But please be aware that some stones are very rare and I may not be able to source the exact same stones. Use the contact page to send me a message and we can discuss from there.

GEMSTONES & SPECIMENS

I want a gemstone or specimen that is sold out. What should I do?

Each gemstone and specimen in our shop has been hand selected and may be the only one we could acquire. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, we offer custom sourcing for gemstones, specimens, and rough stones. Please see our Services page to get started.

Do your gemstones come with a certificate of authenticity?

As of the time of this writing, most of our gemstones do not come with a certificate of authenticity. However, we do offer a GIA certificate as an add-on for most gemstones and cabochons. Please note that only certain stones qualify for an identification + origin report (as opposed to just identification). Rough material or specimens are subject to GIA's ability to grade them. If you have questions about certification, please contact us directly.

Are your stones sourced responsibly?

Yes! We have a network of reputable, honest wholesalers, artisinal miners, dealers, and small businesses that align with our core values of fairness and fair trade, equity, transparency, and doing no harm to people and environment. All of our stones are sourced ethically and responsibly.

I'm looking for a specific stone. Can you help me acquire it?

Yes! We offer custom private sourcing for gemstones, specimens, and rough material, however, our specialty is rare, collector-grade stones, and rare combination stones and specimens. As a GIA alumni and having been in the trade for many years, our founder has a network of dedicated, passionate rockhounds, gemologists, gem dealers, artisinal miners, and wholesalers around the world. She also has direct legal access to the emerald mines in Pakistan and Afghanistan where the world's top emeralds come from. Please see our Services page for more information about our custom private sourcing services.
