This 4.17 total carat weight Moroccan amethyst set consists of three elongated hexagonal cut stones in a matched color range, with two smaller pieces at 11 x 4mm suited for earrings, and a larger center piece at 15 x 6mm suited for a pendant. All three carry a classic, deep purple with warm fuchsia undertones, a color profile specific to Moroccan amethyst that is not typically seen in material from other localities. Brazilian and Zambian amethyst tend toward a cooler, more purely purple tone. Moroccan material carries warmth beneath its purple: the fuchsia undertone gives these stones a richer, more saturated character that reads differently from standard amethyst without departing from the classic purple category.

The elongated hexagonal cut is well-chosen for this color. The long, narrow geometry and angled pointed ends concentrate the color along the length of each stone, creating a clean color corridor that presents as a rich, even stripe of deep purple from end to end. The step-cut table keeps the interior visible and unbroken, allowing the warm tonal quality of the Moroccan origin to show clearly. All three pieces are eye clean and transparent throughout.

This set is completely unheated and untreated. Because all three stones share the same origin, color character, and cut style, they work in coherent visual and energetic unity, which is the practical advantage of purchasing a matched set cut from the same material.

WHAT THIS STONE IS USED FOR

The two smaller stones at 11 x 4mm are sized and shaped for earring settings: their elongated hexagonal form works well in bezel or prong settings oriented vertically, where the pointed ends direct the stones' vibrational output downward along the jaw and neck. Worn at the ears, they sit in proximity to the temples, the base of the skull, and the throat, areas relevant to the violet band's action on higher perception and spiritual awareness.

The larger center stone at 15 x 6mm functions as a pendant anchor. In a pendant setting worn at the throat or chest, the stone's length-to-width ratio creates a vertical energy flow along the body's central channel, with the pointed ends functioning as natural directional guides for the stone's vibrational output. Worn point-down, the lower tip directs the violet band's frequencies toward the heart center. Worn in a horizontal setting, the two pointed ends radiate energy laterally.

This set is designed for wear as the three-piece configuration is built for a jewelry suite. For practitioners, wearing matched amethyst at the ears and chest simultaneously creates a layered, continuous field of violet band frequency across the upper body, which supports sustained meditation work, contemplative practice, and extended periods of spiritual focus throughout the day.

VIBRATIONAL PROFILE

Violet Band: Amethyst is among the primary mineral carriers of the violet band in the vibrational spectrum. At the physical level, the violet band builds the spleen and white blood cells, supports the lymphatic system, and has been applied in protocols for serious illness. At the energetic level, it is faster and more penetrating than the white band and amplifies any other vibrational color used alongside it. It produces etheric revitalization and transmutation. At the emotional and mental level, it shifts awareness away from physical-world concerns and toward spiritual focus, promoting higher awareness and consciousness. At the spiritual level, it gives spiritual strength and deepens the effects of meditation.

Amethyst's trigonal crystal structure, a subset of hexagonal symmetry with three-fold rotational symmetry, gives it a specific energetic character within the violet band. The trigonal system's versatile geometry allows it to both stabilize and dynamically redirect energy, and it is specifically documented in crystal science as supporting the calming of the mind and the enhancement of spiritual awareness through the harmonic resonance of its lattice structure. This is not incidental to amethyst's long history of use in meditation and spiritual practice across cultures, but rather a structural property of the mineral itself.

In Rudolf Steiner's system of four ethers, violet corresponds to the life ether, the highest of the four ethers, which penetrates solid matter and governs the physical materialization of spiritual impulses. In Daskalos' archangelic system, violet is the flame of Archangel Raphael, the archangel of healing in the Western tradition, who governs etheric vitality. The alchemical violet flame tradition speaks to violet's core function: the transmutation of denser energetic states into higher, refined ones.

The warm fuchsia undertone of this Moroccan material places it in a slightly warmer position within the violet band than cooler blue-purple amethyst. These stones feature an overlap with the red-violet sub-band that adds a mild emotionally integrative quality to the violet band's primary spiritual and etheric qualities, making this set useful not only for crown and third eye chakra work but for practices that engage the feeling body alongside the higher centers of awareness and connection.

FAQ

JEWELRY

Are the stones and materials you use natural?

Yes! All of the stones we use are high-grade, premium, and 100% natural just as Gaia made them. They are not treated in any way (heat, irradiation, dye, stabilized, etc.) because some treatments alter the vibrational nature of the stone and can be detrimental to the energy field of the wearer. We use either 100% linen or silk thread for our beaded necklaces as they are highly conductive, helping the energy travel powerfully through the piece.

Do pieces come in other sizes or stone combinations?

Each piece made is unique and not made to order. Therefore, this piece cannot be altered and does not come in other sizes or stone combinations. However, if you like this piece and want it longer, made with different stones, or altered in any way, please reach out to request a custom order via the Contact page.

Who made the pieces in your store?

Each piece is handcrafted with intention and love by founder Ashley Sohl. She hand-picks every stone and component that is used, and handmakes each piece with care and attention. We do not believe in mass produced, cookie-cutter jewelry. Sanctuary Vibrational Jewelry makes unique stone ally adornments for inner journeys and personal transformation.

How do you know the vibration of the stones?

The vibrational qualities are painstakingly tested by Ashley using a comibination of ancient and modern vibrational scientific techniques from different schools of thought, including BioGeometry, physical Radiesthesia, New Homeopathy, and more.

Do you use real gold?

Yes! We use solid 14k gold. We recently started offering gold-filled as an option to make pieces accessible to more people. If gold-filled doesn't show up as an option, please contact me to request a custom.

I want a piece that is sold out. What should I do?

Every piece I make is a genuine one of a kind. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, you can request a custom order to have me make another one. But please be aware that some stones are very rare and I may not be able to source the exact same stones. Use the contact page to send me a message and we can discuss from there.

GEMSTONES & SPECIMENS

I want a gemstone or specimen that is sold out. What should I do?

Each gemstone and specimen in our shop has been hand selected and may be the only one we could acquire. If you see a piece you like, but is sold out, we offer custom sourcing for gemstones, specimens, and rough stones. Please see our Services page to get started.

Do your gemstones come with a certificate of authenticity?

As of the time of this writing, most of our gemstones do not come with a certificate of authenticity. However, we do offer a GIA certificate as an add-on for most gemstones and cabochons. Please note that only certain stones qualify for an identification + origin report (as opposed to just identification). Rough material or specimens are subject to GIA's ability to grade them. If you have questions about certification, please contact us directly.

Are your stones sourced responsibly?

Yes! We have a network of reputable, honest wholesalers, artisinal miners, dealers, and small businesses that align with our core values of fairness and fair trade, equity, transparency, and doing no harm to people and environment. All of our stones are sourced ethically and responsibly.

I'm looking for a specific stone. Can you help me acquire it?

Yes! We offer custom private sourcing for gemstones, specimens, and rough material, however, our specialty is rare, collector-grade stones, and rare combination stones and specimens. As a GIA alumni and having been in the trade for many years, our founder has a network of dedicated, passionate rockhounds, gemologists, gem dealers, artisinal miners, and wholesalers around the world. She also has direct legal access to the emerald mines in Pakistan and Afghanistan where the world's top emeralds come from.
