Most Brazilian phenakite comes out of the ground at 'Good' grade with a milky body, so an eye clean faceted stone from Brazil is a rare find. This gemstone is completely untreated, and the oval is a mine cut, meaning it was faceted near the source rather than calibrated to standard jewelry dimensions.

Phenakite is one of the rarest minerals on Earth, with only a few sources producing gem-quality material in limited quantities. Faceted phenakite at this size and clarity is getting rarer to find on the open market, which makes this oval well suited to both collectors and custom jewelry designs.

WHAT THIS STONE IS USED FOR

Phenakite is one of the most direct tools available for working with the crown and etheric energy centers above the head, and Brazilian phenakite resonates with the third eye, crown, and etheric chakras. One advantage of a faceted gemstone over a rough crystal is the culet, the pointed tip at the base of the stone, which acts as a focused energy director, much like the tip of a Vogel Crystal.
